I found exactly what I needed at Babel books. The book arrived promptly and in excellent condition as described. It’s almost brand new despite being ‘used’ and I look forward to reading it.

I was astonished by the service provided by Babel Books and particularly Sabine.
I found a rare book (English translation of Marcel Pagnol’s My Father’s Glory and My Mother’s Castle) that had been difficult to track elsewhere, at an excellent price.
Even though there was a lot of clarity about the delivery process, which took a couple of weeks (completely understandable), Sabine personally emailed me to ensure that was OK, and then sent with the book a handwritten note to thank me.

I stumbled across this site while trying to locate a hard to find book published in 2008. What a find! The site also pointed me to an early book by Helen Garner which I had never read. So excited to order them both at bargain prices. A personal email from Sabine to let me know there would be a delivery delay due to Christmas holidays was above and beyond expectations. The books were very well packed and in excellent condition – much better than described on the site. I’ll be recommending you to everyone so know. And the book I was looking for is a gem! Thank you.

Great customer service and communication and my book was practically in new condition! The book I ordered wasn’t easy to find online and when I did find it new, it was quite expensive so it was great to buy second hand. Thank you!

I purchased what I thought was going to be a second edition, to my pleasant surprise I was sent a first edition. Its the first book of a trilogy I was missing, and now I have the full collection all in first edition. Stoked! Not to mention how friendly and helpful the staff are, I even got a little personalised note from Sabine and a bookmark thanking me for my purchase.

Will definitely buy from babelbooks again in the future.
