Professor Crowley has brought together a team of writers and teachers who are leaders in their field. Much of Australia's early history has been reinterpreted; close attention has been paid to Australia in the twentieth century, and in particular to the impact of two world wars, the economic depression and the long period of the Menzies hegemony in post-war years.
