I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered BabelBooks. I was looking to buy second hand books in french without going through an overseas website, which would have come with long waiting time and prohibitive shipping cost. BabelBooks was a revelation. They have a fair selection of topics and categories. Given the limited market for French readership in Australia, it’s nothing short of a miracle. I ordered my first ‘pre-loved’ books recently, they arrived quicker than expected (from Victoria to Queensland), were well protected for the journey and in very good condition.
